Changing the lives of disabled people in Sierra Leone by preparing them for skilled employment through the provision of training scholarships in Information Communication and Technology (ICT)

The Dorothy Springer Trust (DST) provides scholarships to disabled people in Sierra Leone to undergo advanced Information Communication and Technology (ICT) training and certification.

Registered with the UK Charity Commission in 2007 (No. 1120537), DST Is a young charity – but we have a model that works. Our first year of students are all now in skilled employment – they are confident that they can get a job and rely on their knowledge, ability and skills, rather than on the donations of others. They also act as role models for other disabled people!

Our operation is enabling disabled people to find regular employment and advance their integration and equality in Sierra Leonean society — today and, increasingly so, in the future.
